Carl Adolf Hoyer violin bow
Nickel mounted with pearl eyes, nickel button with pearl cap, round stick, silver wire lapping, stamped C A H M with a cross, 65.7 grams
This is a fine example of one of the more basic bows produced in the Hoyer family workshop in Markneukirchen. In life-long custodianship by the previous owner, an elderly amateur player, this bow is in very good original condition apart from the lapping. It is offered for sale freshly rehaired and with a new lapping and thumb leather.
