Entry level 16″ viola outfit

A secondhand entry level viola from an unidentified workshop in China, set up by Yuri Djachenko and David Patterson with a D’Addario Helicore steel A and D’Addario Zyex DGC strings.  With our in-house set-up this viola sounds surprisingly good and is easy to play!  This would be an ideal inexpensive stop-gap instrument for a budding teenager, or a useful viola for a violinist wanting to start playing the viola, or for use as a teaching viola.  The price is the sum of the Recommended Retail prices of and equivalent new instrument, bow, bridge blank, strings and setup charge.  If the bow is not needed, the price can be reduced accordingly.  The case will be provided at no charge.
