Robert White violin (2003)

Description

Robert White is a local Brisbane violin maker who started making instruments at home in Brookfield in 1997.  Self-taught but with excellent wood-working skills and attention to detail, Bob’s main influences have been the late Wilfred Saunders, and Helge Grawert with whom he shares a good friendship.  This instrument is has light wear (as it was sold to a customer when new, who traded it back on a newer instrument from Bob which he liked better) and is set up by the maker, with Evah Pirazzi strings.
