Viola bow possibly English

Viola bow possibly English

Silver mounted, the later ebony frog with Parisian eye, round stick, unstamped, 68.5 grams.

The maker is of this bow is currently unknown, may be school of or copy of James Tubbs.  Frog and button are not original to the stick, which has also had the original silver face replaced at the head.

Freshly rehaired and with a new thumb leather.  A fine playing bow that is in excellent but unoriginal condition, and priced accordingly.
